If you are doing research in an area of diagnostic interest, MBS offers you the opportunity to develop and own a custom antibody for your research while generating income for your university or research institute.
Investigators and scientists who have interest in developing an antibody or own an antibody with diagnostic value should contact our Technical Marketing Specialist. Maine Biotechnology Services has over 17 years experience partnering with diagnostic and pharmaceutical companies in the area of custom hybridoma development and bulk antibody production. Our formula for a successful technical collaboration is to lend our resources and experience in developing a quality custom antibody, while the researcher lends their expertise in antigen design and/or specific screening. Ultimately, a fair and mutually beneficial licensing agreement would be established.
Researchers would communicate with MBS throughout the development process, maintaining control over the testing and validation of the antibody. MBS will use our network of contacts in the biotechnology and diagnostic industries to market and sell the antibody, generating revenue for your research institution.
