In Development Notes and Technical Updates

Progesterone

  • A progesterone hybridoma development was undertaken in response to industry requests for a high affinity, quality antibody. The project has yielded a large number of positives currently undergoing screening to rule out clones that recognize other steroid cross reactants.  The project is complete and available for sampling.

Lactoferrin

  • Antibodies resulted as bi-products of a previous project and are currently undergoing rigorous testing to validate matched pair capability and show recognition of Lactoferrin at a 20ng/mL level.  Matched pair monoclonal antibodies specific for Lactoferrin are now available for sampling. The pair, MAB232P and MAB233P have been shown not to cross react with human tranferrin.

Maltose Binding Protein

  • Building on the very successful His-tag development, MBS is adding an additional affinity tag for recombinant antigen purification with the development of a monoclonal antibody to Maltose Binding Protein.  The antibodies are validaded in WB and available for sampling.

Rift Valley Fever

  •  Immunizations are underway for the development of monoclonal antibodies to Rift Valley Fever,  The goals of the project are matched pair of antibodies specific for RVFV detection and antibodies specific for the nucleocapsid protein.  To be either as a serology assay positive control, and/or antibody capture – antigen (animal) – serum.  Used in DIVA (differentiation infected vaccinated animals)
