cGMP Ascites Production and Antibody Purification Services
MBS offers In Vitro processes for the propagation of your mammalian cell lines. Either the cells themselves or the monoclonal antibody can be produced in milligram to gram quantities. Anchorage dependent cells (CHO, VERO) can be propagated in spinners or microcarriers, or in Nunc Cell factories for small-scale production.
For suspension cell lines, specifically hybridomas, cells scan be grown in spinner flasks or roller bottles.
All GMP in vitro production services include:
· Expansion and cryopreservation of hybridoma cell lines to 5 vials
(first year storage)
· Media Preparation and QC
· Daily collection and 4C storage of supernatant
· Concentration of supernatant for purification
GMP production report includes media formulation, culture system, starting and final concentrations, starting and final volumes.
Stirred Tank Production Spinner Flasks or Roller Bottle Productions
Cultures are grown to a specific viability and then harvested for optimal cell or cell product preparation. Production sizes range from 1.0L to 100.0L

Nunc Cell Factory Production
MBS can house up to 10-tiered Cell Factories for the growth of adherent cells. Cells can be cultured in single batch or maintained with continuous feeding. Customer protocols are followed. In all cases, a single tier will be run side by side for daily observation of the culture.

In Vitro Monoclonal Antibody Purification Services
Murine and rat monoclonal IgG antibodies are purified by Protein A or Protein G. Dilute culture medium should be concentrated prior to purification. Concentration is done 5 to 10 x by tangential flow. Purification is performed using pH gradient resulting in less aggregation.

· Media preparation and QC
· Daily collection and 4C storage of supernatant
· Concentration of supernatant for purification
· Concentration/Dialysis to desired transport buffer (e.g. 0.15M
